Can I simply use apple instead of the courgettes? Or will it be too watery?

Made these last week and loved the recipe but have loads of apples that I want to use instead this week.

It should substitute fine. I have a basic muffin recipe that I tweak according to whichever fruit or veg I'm using. If anything, courgette is wetter than apple. Easy enough to tweak the amount of added liquid if need be.

Thanks for the replies.

I love apple butter Tea, will give that a go. Already made pints of apple sauce, the freezer is full! 🍎
