I've got the Paul Hollywood book and ingredients but only have a 2 oven aga which is approx 240 top oven and 110 bottom and am wondering how to adjust timings etc?

Also planning to try gluten free breads as my daughter has coeliac disease. My mind boggles with adjusting recipes for aga and gf!

Top oven, as it is. 240 deg.C is OK for bread. If you were baking in an old stone/brick bread oven it would be much hotter than that. I bake bread at that sort of temperature in my fan oven at home. You could always cover with foil after 2/3rd cooking time to prevent the top from going too dark.

Oh great- so won't cremate the loaves? Quite excited about trying it out but suspect I'll be annoyed if they fail.
