I have a very skinny DS1 and we encourage him to eat as much cheese as he can manage!

those full fat yoghurts (the organic ones tend to be full fat, like Rachels - they do some yummy luxury ones)

How about quiche, home made pizza with plenty of cheese, cheese and biscuits after main meal, anything with cheese as Fio suggests.

I can sometimes get DS1 to eat a couple of slices of nice crusty bread with lots of butter on along with his main meal.

Could you use lots of cream in puddings such as rice pudding, semolina etc?

butter with toast, full fat milkshakes, if prefer tomato sauces with pasta, add handful of cheese on the top. Fish pie is great for hiding cheese, cream and butter. Mine love jacket potatoes etc - often adding the healthy carbs can help children add bulk and perfect for lots of buttery toppings. Just a matter of rethinking it all - fullfat yogs, full fat milk, milkshakes instead of squash, butter no marg, custard is good on puddings, pots, pasta, rice. Keep up the healthy veg and fruit too Good luck

Macaroni and cheese?

Home made pizza, with lots of mozerlla on te top, and a drizzle of olive oil.

Pasta and pesto, with garlic bread.

Pasta carbonara, with garlic bread.

Polenta with lots of butter and parmesan, served with roasted veggies.

Steak and kidney pie.

Sausages and mash pots made with cream and egg.

Chicken and ham pie (in a white sauce), with lovely rich flaky pastry.

Any kind of milk based puddings, home made with a splash of cream.
Rice pudding
Cake and custard
Tapioca
Semolina

Plenty of nice home made cakes and snacks available.

Lemon Drizzle (natch)
Carrot cake
lemon biscuits
Choc chip cookies
Brownies

Cheese and biscuits.

Can only think of lots of milky/cheesy stuff:
rice pudding
mash with lots of butter
macaroni cheese
Home made pizzas with lots of mozzarella
Tortilla wraps with all the trimmings (inc sour cream, grated cheese, maybe even try gauacamole (may get eaten if it doesn't LOOK like an avacado?!
Are you using full fat milk?
Smoothies with yoghurt
Bananas in everything (eg banana porridge for breakfast
Eggy bread
Toad in the hole

( I was a skinny runt too, and got fed lots of this )

mascarpone is as fatty as cheese but doesn't taste as strong so she won't notice. Add to mash, pasta, spoonful in baked potatoes etc.

Coconut milk is fatty as well - try a Thai curry.

If you can bear the cooking, plain milky puddings like rice pudding, milk jelly, jelly mousse etc are good for hiding cream or mascarpone, and fruit-based puds are a brilliant vehicle for custard (make with eggs and single cream).

mmm, yes those rachels yoghurts are fab (no added sugar), there are also rachel's drinking yoghurts

& agree with cheese on everything (& cheese mixed w/ breadcrumbs & seeds makes a great topping)

rice pudding

peanut butter (if you give it to her) - great with lots of things - spread on apple as a snack, in milkshakes, on sandiches

Mild curry - lambo korma, lamb tikka massala. Both dcs like these...with vegetables such as spinach added at the last moment, plus the iron in the lamb, it makes for a good calorific meal.

When my DS1 was younger I was worried he wasn't eating enough calories so I started buying the extra creamy milk (made from Guernsey or Jersey cows!) It definitely helped...

Greek yoghurt - I agree!

DD1 is SOOO skinny.

I make lots of smoothies, too, with ice cream and protein powder added to bulk it up.
