Fish Pie Safe to eat?

I noticed my fish was at its use by date yesterday so I made a fish pie, let it cool down and put it in the fridge.

Will it be okay to eat tonight now it's past the use by date but cooked???

Yes it will be fine, I've done this many times.

I would eat it.
