Help me slow cooker pros......
I always make tea. DP has cooked twice in the time I've known him, but he's hates what I'd call 'hearty' meals, ie. Stews, casseroles etc etc. What else can I make in a slow cooker to please everyone????

Marking my place as I also live with a stew refuser.

Roast chicken is fab done in the slow cooker, so juicy. I substitute beef mince with pork or Turkey to make recipes with mince in taste lighter.

How do you do the chicken?

TiredQueen before you buy consider a multicooker like this

www.amazon.co.uk/Morphy-Richards-48615-Intellichef-Multicooker/dp/B00DF0E6IO

It is a slow cooker amongst other things, but it means you can brown meat or onions without transferring between pans.

So - just plain, propped up on a few balls of foil to keep it out of it's juices to stop it falling apart. It's amazingly juicy, but no crispy skin Sad
