Need to work out weight of food!! Help ASAP!!!

I need 1/4 lb of pasta, but I dont have scales. Does anyone know how much 1/4lb is in grams?

1oz =28g 16oz = Ib 16/4= 4*28 = 112 g

how are you going to measure in g without scales ?

i dont know gothicmama, lol. just seeing if anyone knows. its pasta so it doesnt really matter if im too far off. i need to buy some scales just can never seem to get to the shops

im just sort of estimating from the total amount of the pack, and then taking how much i think is roughly the amount i needed. as you can tell im a bad cook lol. thanks for that

if it is for two people i usually a use a cup or if spag then a generous grip ful in my hand

1lb = 454g so 1/4 lb = 113.5g = 1 mug full mounded at the top. well thats what i do anyway
