yes, usually rum or tia maria, with the coffee - 150 ml coffee/45 ml alcohol I think

I use Marsala wine which isn't always terribly easy to get but adds a lovely authentic flavour to Tiramisu.

I've never made it from scratch but I have been known to pour a "drop" of Amaretto on to a bought one if its not got that authentic flavour.

Last time I made it, I made it in individual dishes as the DC object to the coffee/alcohol. I made theirs with cooled hot chocolate! They loved it
