Cornflakes cakes with cocoa?

I don't have golden syrup but I do have honey. Can I still make them with the cocoa and the butter?

Trying to get that sort of sticky consistency but never quite manage it correctly!

Use the honey in place of syrup, or I think Mum used to make with cocoa and icing sugar. Will have a look.

My mums recipe is equal quantities caster sugar, butter, cocoa and syrup but I'm sure honey would be lovely too! Just melt together and then stir in cornflakes - always the first thing to go at cake sales!
