Can I cook White Cabbage?

I have half a white cabbage leftover from making coleslaw. Can I cook it to go with a roast dinner? I've only ever cooked green cabbage such as Savoy in the past

Of course you can. Fry it with some bacon!

Yes to frying it with bacon or with lots of black pepper.

I fried it up with some smoked streaky bacon, then braised it in a little stock for about 10 mins. A knob of butter and black pepper at the end and it was gorgeous.

Feel a bit stupid now for asking but I've only ever made coleslaw with it before

Stir fry with some caraway seeds.

I love booked cabbage! If its savoy it needs lots of pepper, if white it needs lots of vinegar

You can stir fry it too and put the thicker bits in a veggie curry.
