The title says it all, really. I've got a bunch and don't quite know what to do with them. Never cooked shellfish much....

So anything easy with frozen tiger prawns is welcome.

Thanks!

lots of prawn stuff on the trusty beeb site here

Can't stand prawns myself, worms in disguise

Thanks! Sounds good, esp the tomato sauce. The boys might not eat them, so they can have the sauce without it. How do you defrost prawns?

JJ, I just put mine in a sieve over a bowl, and let them defrost in their own time.

I usually make a rice dish, with onions, mushrooms, tin toms, peppers in etc, and then add the prawns to the top.

Thats if there are any left, as I tend to eat them as I go along! delicious.

Go to www.deliaonline.com, search on tiger prawns and them make the Gratin of tiger prawns with chilli and cheese. Utterly divine!

Alternatively, bung them in a bowl with some olive oil, garlic and chopped chilli, marinate in the fridge for an hour, thread on to skewers, grill and eat. Equally divine - you'll need lots of crusty bread to mop up the juices!
