I've just been given a slow cooker (woohoo) but I'm not totally sure what to do with it. Too much choice on Pinterest!

Does anyone have any good slow cooker recipes they'd like to share? Particularly with long cooking hours for work days at work? Smile

Beef or lamb (the cheap cuts as good cuts never turn out as nice)

Brown off in the pan with root veg, then add to the slow cooker with some oxo and generous helping of red wine. Tin or two of chopped tomatoes or passata. Bit of rosemary Set on low.

I leave for work at eight. It's perfect at six when I get home. Occasionally it needs thickening with cornflour but that's it.

Currys are good too!

Lamb and mint meatballs, tomato sauce, put on low for 8 hours, they come out so juicy and succulent! :)

Sausage casserole is also easy! especially with a jar of sauce I recommend pork and leek sausages :)

You will get SO much use out of it!!

Also do porridge and peach cobbler in it!
