pasta & homeade pesto is a staple in our semi vegi household.

Pasta with pesto and some roasted cherry tomatoes. Very quick and easy - I am assuming that the child is not vegan...

Pasta with pesto &/or cheese/tomato sauce, pizza? Baked potato with cheese and/or beans? Easy!

Vegetarian children everywhere must be sick to death of pasta with pesto!!

We are't veggie and my dd can't get enough of it!

Jacket potatoes with help-yourself, mix-n-match fillings: grated cheese, broccoli, baked beans, peas, mushrooms, etc.

Rice, cooked, then with any of all of chopped carrot, peas, tomato, raisins, broccoli, etc, stirred in. You can call this risotto, or pilaff, depending on which you think will sound more attractive to the children.

The above with couscous if you have it.

Toasted sandwiches and chips and salad.

hummus and dips or in sandwhiches or on baked potatoes.

Thanks all, I had a momentary brain drain. Its simple really isnt it?

Mind you I tried that pesto stuff, YUK! I do have a problems with tomatoes, nobody eats them in this house, so I would have to go all the way to town to buy some!

Hmm jacket pot with a selection of vegetables and cheese sounds good.
