Coffee cake...

It's my favourite! However, no instant coffee in da house. I wanted to check quantities if I made it with brewed coffee, felt sure a MN recipe would come to the rescue.... but Nooooooooo! In fact, no coffee cake of any sort (just buns and kisses, which sound fun, but are not the thing).

Can anyone help, pleeeease!?!

I don't have exact quantities but just make suuuuuuper strong coffee, and if your basic recipe has milk in the cake batter reduce accordingly? Completely unhelpful, but will see if I can hunt out my coffee cake recipe that uses brewed coffee!

aw thanks Joydgreen88 that's very sweet of you! I only have a cafetiere for coffee making, would you think just to add a small amount of water to a lot of ground beans would work out OK?
