I'm looking for pasta bake recipes :-)

This is my favourite
Fry off one chopped red onion, garlic, one chopped red pepper. Add a tin of chopped tomatoes, a tin of kidney beans some mixed herbs and tomato purée. Let it reduce down a bit. You can also add cooked chopped bacon or chilli if you like. Add to cooked penne and pour the lot into an oven proof dish. Cover with grated cheese and breadcrumbs and bake for 20 mins.

Atleast that sounds so good, never thought of kidney beans and pasta!

Our favourite is cooking some onions, garlic, chicken and bacon with some Italian herbs until the chicken is almost cooked, adding passata and some more seasoning before mixing in some cheese sauce. Sometimes I'll have a tub from the fresh section in the supermarket and use that or I'll make it with a ton of grated cheese and whatever type of dairy that needs using up in the fridge (not yoghurt though, we did not like it with yoghurt) and mixing with cooked pasta, top with cheese and breadcrumbs then bake until golden on top.

I'm looking for inspiration? I want to start having fun movie nights with my daughter does anyone do this? Any fun tips? Need to save cash the cinema trips are crippling me!
