But peaches smell and taste so much richer than nectarines...you're just wimpy about the furry skin!

sponge · 07/06/2004 14:15

The white fleshed ones - peaches or nectarines - are heavenly.

I knkow, I'll do the mumsnet cherry challenge and eat them all while I'm going around the supermarket

Toothache · 08/06/2004 10:37

Willow2 - As an "added extra" scandal you could spit the stones back into the Cherry crates.

willow2 · 08/06/2004 11:23

Thank you for giving meaning to my day.

Caribbeanqueen · 08/06/2004 11:49

Why are cherries so expensive? I have to save up all winter just so I can indulge my cherry habit in summer!

They are worth going into debt for though!

Recurrants, I love them, and strawbs and rasps. And yes, I agree that cherries are outrageously priced. When we lived in Kent, they were incredibly cheap, you could just buy them at roadside stalls.
