He was really proud of this sticker & showed to me this evening, but when I asked what he'd had he said 'fishfingers & chips' & going on what he told me (not much) no veg or fruit! What is the school thinking of?!
Mind, he's only 5 & crap at imparting information, but even so...

Oh my God!!!!!
Storm into school and demand to know what the stickers for a crap meal are for then!

what was the other choice? maybe that was the healthier of a few choices?

fishfingers and chips is fair enough once in a while, but to tell a child that a meal containing no fruit or vegetable is healthy seems a bad idea.

I would not count potato as a vegetable (yes yes I know it is).

But if he is not that good at relaying info I would give the benefit of the doubt (maybe he ate an apple and forgot) but would keep an eye on it.
