Lunch party for meat eaters and vegetarians

It is our silver wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks. We have family coming over for a lunch party, 12 people to feed. 3 are vegetarian. Everyone else is a mixture of omnivore and dedicated carnivore

We are aiming for a sit down lunch, outdoors if weather permits.

So we were thinking starter of Charentais melon with grilled haloumi and saucisson served separately in different bowls.

We will have a cheese course (lots of cheese eaters in the family)

We will have desert probably including Eton mess.

We have an allotment with a plentiful supply of potatoes, onions, courgettes, garlic, french beans.

DH is a good cook.

Please, can anyone suggest a couple of main courses?

Sounds like a great menu, OP. Lasagne can be made ahead in its entirety so is a better choice than stuffed vegetables imo.

We arent expecting everyone to eat everything (though DH & BiL will give it a damn good go!)

Some of the guests really do have different tastes so we want to cater for everyone. At the same time the omnivores will have a field day!

It sounds delicious
I did a greekish mezze meal for Easter based around a lamb shoulder which may give you some ideas, though no vegetarians to cook for and just two people but a fair bit of variety.

We have never been guilty of under-catering!
