How do I cook rice made from beetroot?

Saw this in sainsburys today and grabbed a pack as I'm trying to include more veg in my diet and it looked interesting! I've eaten cauliflower rice a few times and liked it. I don't know what to do with this though fry it? How should I season it? I've not really eaten beetroot before so her no idea!

Are there not instructions on the packet?!

I can't really imagine anything other than steaming it, or just leaving it raw as a salad dish.
Would it not go mushy otherwise?

you don't cook it. you put it in the bin. the outside bin. the neighbour's bin. any bin will do

It's not rice. It's beetroot scrapings.

I love beetroot; I love rice. Butnot "beetroot rice".

I realise I'm being singularly unhelpful but I have to put a stop to this faux rice nonsense that's taking hold of the world.

And yes, put it in a bin :)

Stir fry it, add light soy sauce to season.
Be prepared for purpleness.Sad

If you own a food processor, grate your own it is much cheaper.
If you have a garden try growing some white beetroot, they are not purple.

Pp are right. First step: put in bin. Second step: order pizza.

You're welcome :)

Beetroot rice? That's a new one!

Cauli rice works becase it has a mild flavour. Beetroot isn;t rice like, at all.
