chcolate mousse with just creme fraiche and not double cream

Does anyone know if I can make a very simple chocolate mousse with melted cholcate and cremem fraiche instead of whipped double cream ?
wante dto make something very quick for a pudding htis evening that my DS could also eat as something different (8 months old)

You are wlcome to mine but it is egg and no cream so you might not want it for your 8 month old. But hey ho treat yourself instead!

roughly:

200g good dark chocolate
40-80g sugar depending on how sweet you want it
40g butter
4 eggs

Melt the butter and chocolate together and add the sugar and egg yolks.

Beat the whites until nice and stiff and fold into the chocolate.

Pour into serving dish and pop in the fridge until set.

Also tastes great with added alcohol of choice.

It is yummy Quite bitter/sharp - more for the grown ups I think...
