Leftover cooked sausgaes

wait can I do with leftover cooked sausages from a bbq? They ar pork so don't think I can reheat them?

Yes of course you can reheat them. chop them up and cook with a can of mixed pulses, passata and some chilli. Yum!

I made sausage pasta for my son with precooked sossies last week. I just chopped them up, and reheated with pasta sauce.

Cold sausage sandwich?

My DH would just eat them out the fridge 🐷

Wetherspoons use pre-cooked bacon that's then reheated on the grill, trust me you can reheat pork

Walls sell ready cooked microwaveable sausages,you can reheat pork.

i think sausage is ok. I wouldnt try it personally but only because I love cold sausages
rice is dodgy but ok if blasted.
fish is also a bit dodgy

Serve with macaroni cheese for a quick meal.
Sausage sandwiches.
Slice thinly and add to soup such as three bean soup, pea soup, tomato & pasta style soup.
Add to baked beans for a quick lunch.

Sausage pasta bake.
Sausage salad.

Sausage scrambled egg.

Rice is only dodgy if left out for over an hour once cooked.

Why is pork any riskier than reheating any other meat?

^Yes. You can get food poisoning from eating reheated rice. However, it's not the reheating that causes the problem but the way the rice has been stored before it was reheated.
How does reheated rice cause food poisoning?

Uncooked rice can contain spores of Bacillus cereus, a bacterium that can cause food poisoning. When the rice is cooked, the spores can survive.
If the rice is left standing at room temperature, the spores can grow into bacteria. These bacteria will multiply and may produce toxins (poisons) that cause vomiting or diarrhoea.
The longer cooked rice is left at room temperature, the more likely it is that the bacteria or toxins could make the rice unsafe to eat.
Symptoms of food poisoning

If you eat rice that contains Bacillus cereus bacteria you may be sick and experience vomiting or diarrhoea about 1-5 hours afterwards. Symptoms are relatively mild and usually last about 24 hours.
Tips on serving rice safely

ideally, serve rice as soon as it has been cooked
if that isn't possible, cool the rice as quickly as possible (ideally within one hour)
keep rice in the fridge for no more than one day until reheating
when you reheat any rice, always check that the dish is steaming hot all the way through
do not reheat rice more than once^

Reheating food can be dodgy; recooking food, not so much.

Reheating means taking up to 70 degrees. Cook thoroughly (i.e. over 70 degrees) and there shouldn't be a problem (within reason: I'm not saying that sausages left out for days in summer sun are a good idea!)

Frittata? Fry up sausages, some onion, some tomatoes, add eggs. It's my go to meal to use up leftovers. It's not always worked, but a sausage one sounds pretty good.

How about chopped up into a pasta salad if you want to avoid reheating
