Meal ideas for FIL

MIL has had a fall and is in hospital awaiting an operation. FIL's domestic skills are pretty much non existent bless him. Have cooked shepherd's pie and chicken casserole this morning which should keep him going for a few days. I'm after ideas for other meals which he can just shove in the microwave to warm through, preferably a meal in one dish so he doesn't have to do anything extra.
Would be very grateful for any ideas. He likes most things! Off to visit in a bit but promise I'll pop back for any ideas later on today.

You're welcome. I know how you feel- I had to put my cat to sleep on Wednesday. It's only today I've been able to wash her bed, couldn't face it earlier. Hope your mil gets better soon x

Ah thank you for your kind words cooking and Flowers for you. I feel so tearful today, had her 17 yrs since she was 1. Think I'll donate her food etc to the rescue charity we got her from.
Complete tangent to opening post sorry!
