Frozen broad beans not a patch on fresh ones, I don't like the frozen ones at all.

What about something like French beans cut into pieces?

aDad · 24/01/2007 14:50

I had french beans with similar sauce actually. worked well.

beckybrastraps · 24/01/2007 14:51

Why does it have to be green?

I'd probably put in aubergine with those other ingredients. But that's purple...

marymillington · 24/01/2007 16:49

they are def not as nice as fresh, bit tougher, especially not as nice as my homegrown ones (oops thought i was on the ponce thread for a moment there) but if you can be bothered to pop them out of their skins they are ok.
