Anyone recommend a biscuit recipe where the biscuit doesn't "spread" when baked??

Morning!

Got a bit carried away and said I'll bake some Star Wars biscuits for my son to take into school for his birthday on Friday. I've just bought some cookie cutters then realised I don't have a recipe where the cookies don't spread when cooked. The cutters are quite detailed so presume I need something like a shortbread recipe? Confused

Any ideas gratefully received! Thank you Flowers

If you google Nigella's pepper Christmas biscuits, they won't spread. Or google Christmas tree biscuits.

Here you go! goodfood.uktv.co.uk/recipe/christmas-tree-biscuits/

IIRC you need to chill them on the baking sheet before they go in the oven.

The recipe looks brilliant! Thanks Sunny

Definitely going to give chilling them a try too, thanks elsie

If they turn out ok-ish I will post a pic!
