Really good, but compact blender/food processor?

My old stick/jug blender/processor thing is knackered, so I need a new one.

I need something as compact as possible as I have a tiny kitchen with limited storage space. But capacious enough for say a couple of onions? I use it for chopping, and also with the whisk attachment for baking.

Old one was the old version of this braun one, and TBH I'd be happy to buy it again as it's been a pretty faithful servant. But I wonder if there's anything better out there?

I bought a hand blender last week from lidl - it's really good, has a jug with lid, a separate chopper and whisk - £15.99 or £16.99 - my lidl has some left. (After trying it out making smoothies I went back and got another one for my daughter at uni - nice colours too.

I do still want a magi mix Grin but this will do for now.
