Dd has made two chocolate cakes today (i.e. half the mixture in each tin) and wants to ice and decorate them tomorrow.

She wants to use a piping bag. Shall I put buttercream in it? Does anyone have a recipe for it?

Also, shall I use something different to sandwich them together and use on the top before piping?

I use this one

Then maybe decorate with some smarties or similar?

We have used this ganache recipe before and it's lovely if you want something a bit different - www.lakeland.co.uk/r80566/Mary-Berry's-Very-Best-Chocolate-Cake
