We are having a reunion on Sunday when there will be approx 16 of us. The hostess is planning an Italian theme. We have been asked to bring some nibbles and I am completely stuck for ideas. Any one got some ideas please. Dont want to have to cook anything if poss as we are travelling quite a distance.

Antipasti type stuff -

Little chunks of melon wrapped in parma ham and secured with cocktail sticks.

Teeny mozzarella ball skewered onto a cherry tomato with a basil leaf between, maybe drizzle with balsamic glaze (available from Tesco) when you get there?

Foccaccia bites - basically foccaccia in small pieces (but better if she can pop them in the oven for a couple of minutes when you get there).

Salami cornets of some kind (haven't really thought this one through!!!)

Crostini.

I would worry about some of these travelling well, do you have a coolbox?

Bruschetta that you could quickly assemble when you arrive?

Arancini - risotto balls rolled in egg and breadcrumbs and fried.

What about some sweet nibbles - tiramisu, chocolate amaretti cake, mini zeppoloes?
These might travel quite well.
