Savoury ideas for office birthday

Everyone always brings cakes and sweets for birthdays, one colleague suggested we started bringing savouries instead.
What's a good and easy savoury treat for an office of 12 people?

I do sausage rolls. Make them the night before and chill them ready to cook in the morning and take in warm.

Cheese stars.

3 grated cheddar : 2 plain flour : 1 butter

Add smoked paprika if you like.

Turn it into something resembling pastry, cut out in whatever shapes you have cutters for, cook in 200C oven til they look like cheesy biscuits.

Dips with pita bread or Turkish bread or vege sticks

Olives

Cheese and crackers

Salsa with tortilla chips and crudites for dipping
Cheese straws
Mini pork pies/ scotch eggs
Mini pizza
Nuts (e.g. salted peanuts)

And Hula Hoops - always interesting to see if/how many of your colleagues eat them "kiddy style" - i.e. putting them on your fingers like rings and eating them one at a time

If your fingers fit why would you NOT put hula hoops on your fingers?

Cheese scones, blinis with smoked salmon, and crisps!

Samosas and onion bhajis

Pre rolled puff pastry. Parma ham on top then grated cheese. Roll up and slice into pibwheels and bake. Quiche is always good.

I like an old school prawn vol au vent and ham or egg bridge roll too. Retro it!
