Puff pastry!

I bought some ready rolled puff pastry last week. Froze on the day of purchase then took it out of the freezer after a couple of days and defrosted it in the fridge. Stupidly it is now just under a week later and I realised I forgot to use it.

It is still sealed and well within the use by date.

I'm thinking it will be ok but as will be feeding it to the kids just wanted to make sure!!

Do we think it will be ok?

Oops - don't know! I think i would unwrap it and if it looks ok and smells ok then i would use it but if it has gone grey then i would chuck it.

If it's still within date then it should be fine.

If slimy or funny smelling don't use it.

Open it and have a look at it.
Just put a ton of parmesan cheese and italian prosciutto, roll it , cut it and eat today!

Puff doesn't go of easily. If it does it looks distinctly different and will smell sour.
