URGENT - can you freeze veggie lasagne uncooked

or do you have to cook the it before freezing. Really hoping it's the former so I can go to bed! My m-in-law made too much today and I want to freeze some but we didn't get round to cooking it. It's just veg, cheese sauce and pasta sheets, so not lots of tomato sauce to keep it moist - will it survive the freezer?

I know, I'm very dull....just slightly amazed I have something home cooked to go in freezer so don't want to cock it up!

Anyone know the answer?

I honestly don't know...but my instinct says you should cook it first (sorry).

Can't you just stick it in the fridge, cook and freeze tomorrow? It's veggie...it'll be fine.

I don't see why you can't (but don't blame me if it goes wrong )

oh, that's a better idea, marthamoo.

I've frozen it uncooked, no problem.

Ok fridge it is, and cook tomorrow. Can't stay awake any longer (this Mumsnet lark tires you out ). But thank goodness you're here. Where else could you get such a speedy response to such a mad question at this time of night? Off to bed with warm fuzzy feelings about the wonder of Mumsnet. Night all
