After School Snacks...

What do you give young DC as an after school snack / tea time snack? DD is 4 and her appetite has recently gone through the roof.

Small sandwiches, wraps, toast, yoghurt, fruit, carrot/cucumber sticks, ice lollies, crackers and cheese, milkshakes/smoothies etc are the norm in my house but I'm feeling a little uninspired and want her to try some new things.

Pinterest just makes me feel lazy and inadequate (I mean, who actually has the time to prepare some of that stuff??) Confused

Ideas please...

I don't know what time your DD gets home from school, but my kids are always hungry enough for a big meal when they get home from school so I never bother with after school snacks.
Instead they polish off their main meal of the day at 4pm.
OH is rarely home before 8pm anyway, far too long for them to wait.

If I made them wait until 6pm or so they would be stuffing themselves full snacks which are less nutritious than their meal.
