There are just so many on google, I'd like a tried and trusted one please :)

I have most of the ingredients but not sure if I should use brandy, marsala or rum? Do I use club soda, lemonade or orange juice?

I use brandy and lemonade, red wine obvs and lots of different fruits. Can't give you measures because I tend to just give a slosh here and a slosh there Wink

This is a nice recipe from Arabella Boxer's Mediterranean Cookbook
Sangria
50g sugar
4 tablespoon water
1bottle cheap Spanish red plonk
1 lemon chopped
1 orange chopped
150l cheap Spanish brandy
2 peaches sliced
6 ice cubes
300ml soda water

Make a syrup with sugar and water, allow to cool
Pour in all the ingredients except for soda water, ice and peaches
chill for 2-3 hours
Then pour through a strainer into serving jug and add peaches and ice cubes then chill until needed.

(TBH I chuck it all in together and double up the above recipe)

A less-alckie version is to mix a carton orange juice, large bottle of lemonade or Sprite with a bottle of sweetish Spanish red wine but no brandy. Skip the sugar and add slices of orange and chopped mint. Chill and add crushed ice cubes when you serve.

If you have rum in you could make a rum punch too Smile

I love a White sangria.
Halved grapes,
Sliced Kiwi
Fresh Mint
200ml of Triple Sec/Coontreau
500-750 ml of white wine (dry)

Stick it all together and leave on the fridge for a few hours then pour into a 2 litre jug and top with soda water.
