damn!! Was going to say freezer!!!
Ok put a plastic, freezer bag in a large bowl. Fill it. When frozen take bag of soup out of bowl.

I tend to use chinese takeaweay plastic boxes Or I put the soup in a bag and then freeze it with the bag sat in a tub so it takes that shape, then I remove the tub.

i had a lengthy thread posing the same question recently

i opted for empty milk bottles (the plastic ones) in the end. nb you should only fill 2/3rds as it expands so much in the freezer

lol.. I knew all the smartarses wouldn't be able to resist clicking

SO bags then? I've used bags before.. I thought takeaway tubs might be good but haven't got any at the minute.

If you've got loads then freeze it in several ,smaller batches or it takes ages to defrost/cook from frozen

Oati · 17/01/2007 11:15

oh I remember that thread Tutter

ice-cream tubs are good..the milk carton thing is a fab idea!

I use take away plastic tubs too, I make a huge pot then freeze loads of tubs, deep tub holds two bowls and the shallower tub holds a single portion that fits my flask perfect.

You can but packs of similar tubs, they are cheap and stack well. Pound shops, and supermarkets have them.
