Lamb mince curry in one pot with rice? Is this your recipe?

Someone, ages ago but this year, posted a recipe for a lamb mince curry. I had everything in for it other than the lamb mince. I bought the lamb mince, threw it in the freezer and duly lost the recipe/post.

Does it ring a bell with anyone?

No, but it sounds lovely ...

Is it this one from mamalovebird posted in November 2015?

'I doa one pot curry with lamb mince.

Jar of aldi madras curry sauce (with spice pot)
new potatoes
lentils
chicken stock (around a pint)
peas

Fry off lamb mince, drain fat then add in the spices that come in a little pot attached to the jar. Stir through.
add potatoes/lentils/sauce from jar.
Add enough stock to absorb into lentils.
simmer for 20-30 mins (or until potatoes have cooked)
Add peas at the end.

I serve with soured cream/natural yogurt & poppadums."

Hope that helps (and that you can read it!)

No, I would have remembered potatoes as DH is against having them in a curry. That one does sound lovely though.

Thanks for looking but it is none of those. I wouldn't usually have butternut squash in.

It was rice and lamb mince mixed.

I hope someone remembers it as I'd like the recipe too.

Can you just try frying the lamb mince with a diced onion and spices, then adding a jar of curry sauce and the rice, adding water if it needs it and then stiring through peas at the end?

Was it a biryani type of curry?

This one from Jo Preet's Kitchen sounds nice but I would substitute the mutton for lamb.

Yum, I just fancy a nice lamb curry this week so have put it on my weekly menu.
