How long does it take to bake diced lamb in a sauce in the oven

I have a curry sauce and some diced lamb leg that needs using up but my dh is not keen on frying lamb in a pan then adding the sauce as he says it goes dry. Was going to chuck the lamb and sauce in the oven and cook but no idea what temperature to go with (fan oven) or how long it will take. Any tips? Will it make it more tender?

Thanks

Is this raw lamb?

I'd fry it off quickly in a little oil with any spices you want to add, and put it in a dish with the sauce, cover, and cook slowly for 45 - 60 minutes.

But that's just me. Smile

Yes raw. Thank yin! What temperature would you go for?

If you don't want to fry it I would stick in in a pot with the sauce low and slow - 150 degrees for a good few hours. Should go nice and tender and falling apart.

If you've got an hour, middle shelf on 5.

That's my oven, though. Yours may be slightly better than my ancient candle-powered thing.

@Hidenseek22 you'll be better off starting your own thread as this is from 2016 and people will just answer the first post without noting yours.

you might find the answer if you look at the product on the Iceland website though.

It should be cooked by now.
