i soaked the lentils overnight last nite - rinsed it out this morning....do i have to use them straight away?

or can i leave it till tmrw as cant be bothered going shopping today but will do tmrw or will the lentils be no good tmrw?

I'd use them today.

They'll dry out again if you've taken them out of the water, so you won't be able to use them tomorrow.

If they're whole lentils, leaving them in the water for too long will mean they start to sprout and so may not be any use for cooking with.

Lentils don't need rinsing. They only take half an hour to cook anyway.

they arent whole lentils as only half lentils.

I would think if you rinse them and put them in a sealed box in the fridge they should be OK to cook tomorrow, definately fridge though.
