Chocolate Samosas

I got Tony Singhs cookbook "Tasty" recently and its got recipes for chocolate samosas.

And did they turn out well? Sounds good.

They did - I made some Black Forest ones, chocolate pastry with cherry jam served with cream.

Are they made with curds?

No recipe for 24 is

500g plain flour
50g cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp toasted cumin seeds
125ml rapeseed oil
Warm water

Sift in dry ingredients
Add seeds
Slowly add oil and water until a stiff dough
Make into a ball and put in fridge for an hour
Form into 12 balls
Roll out to15cm circles and cut in half
Place spoonful of filling in the centre of each triangle and fold into triangle
Deep fry in batches
Drain on kitchen paper

Suggested fillings are any ganache, compote or curd
