I want to attempt baking cakes like the pictures! The cake shape appears more cylinder shape than the cup cake tins I have, does anyone know what kind of tin is needed and do I use cases too?

Many thanks

Mini Victoria sponge cake tray from Lakeland will do that. I love mine, the cakes look fab and you can bake several different types of cake at the same time.

I don't use cases, the tray has little removable cake tin bottoms that drop into each of the twelve compartments but you do have to grease them all.
