Whats your favourite cake flavour/ recipe?

I'm feeling like my repertoire is a bit unimaginative and limited at only chocolate, Victoria and lemon. I'm making a cake for a friends birthday party and am thinking of branching out, so please, give me your best!

It's very yummy indeed although quite dense.

(Swedish) Cardamom cream cake.

Sorry, I'm too cold to link to a recipe but there are lots on the internet.

You can either grind up your own cardamom or buy it. That's the only difficult bit.
