Egg free Birthday Cake

Has anyone managed to ice (ready roll style) an egg free cake? If so do you have the recipe?

I have managed to make some nice egg free cakes but I'm not convinced they will cope with being iced.

this is my go to egg free cake recipe I've iced it with the ready rolled icing you can buy with no issues.
