OK, I have a 0.681 kg pork belly joint that needs to be cooked today for tea. I was going to just sling it in the oven later.
However, something has now come up which means I will be out of home all afternoon. I have a slow cooker so could sling it in there but every recipe I have googled has suggested things I don't have in my cupboard (gin, sherry, a variety of spices...)
So, is there anything that I have that I could put in the slow cooker with it? And how much? I have some apple juice, I have some oranges I can juice or I have stock.
All ideas gratefully appreciated!
