can you freeze homemade tomato and marscapone pasta sauce?

I was trying to find out on another thread but I need to know soon before I throw it. Actually I may just freeze it and see what happens. Don't want to poison children though!

yes you can freeze almost anthing as long as its not been frozen already

I had enough left for 3 dd size helpings.

Receipe-

Well I didn't make it up it was IntergalacticWalrus...

Very easy and yummy-

Fry onion and garlic, add tinned tomatoes (she said passata but didn't have any so just blizted it with blender)and marscapone.

Serve with pasta and we had a garlic pizza bread thingy.

Both children and dh ate it ( and me!). It was v nice.
