We are skint, no more food shopping for us for a couple of weeks, luckily we have a very full store cupboard and a few bags of frozen veg in the freezer.

I need your best store cupboard meals please.

Just made this with Quinoa instead of couscous and I added pepper and smoked paprika. Was very nice: www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3097/couscous-with-chorizo-and-chickpeas

Vegetable curry with whole hardboiled eggs warmed through in it. Bloody gorgeous.

Have you got a slow cooker? I've made today a really lush concoction of lentils, chick peas, potatoes, sweet potatoes, leeks, carrots, peppers, garlic and tomatoes with a chicken stock cube, Chinese 5 spice, pimento, paprika and chilli sauce. The dc have wolfed it down.

I do this quite a lot with whatever I've got to hand and it always works since I stopped putting water in the slow cooker with it.

Pasta carbonara with your eggs.

Risotto will use up small amounts of veg, fresh or frozen, even tinned!
