What food for a toddler's birthday party in the afternoon?

Having DD's 2nd birthday party at home on a Sunday afternoon 2pm to 4pm. Just a few little toddler mates from NCT and the like plus grandparents and auntie. We will have a birthday cake, and what else shall put on? As its not lunch or tea time? Sandwiches, mini pizzas sort of thing? Or just crisps and cheese cubes?

They never eat much I find and we always seem to over cater! Maybe some fruit, crisps for grown ups, rice cakes and organix snacks type things, breadsticks, and do a few sandwiches etc but less than you think. Sausages always go down well too.

Thank you! Breadsticks, yes. And adult friendly crisps.
