Hi

I've found a recipe from BBC Good Food which requires Masala wine but tbh I wondered if I could use Baileys as I have some left or any other suggestions. I only really want to make it for 6. I did see Nigella's recipe but do you need expresso powder or will instant coffee do.

I would like to try something different as I always make the same deserts

thanks

I would think if you put Baileys in then take out the cream and coffee. You could probably substitute Port or Sherry for Marsala.

You could make Baileys cheesecake

We use that recipe for tiramisu, with masala wine, never tried without it. dd1 made it for her catering gcse and multiple times since, it's really very good :)

BUT we've found that you need to halve the amount of cream in the recipe or it's just too runny

I go all out and use brandy, it's amazing and the leftovers for breakfast set you up for the day a treat.
