I bought a homemade cake today from a fete, which had animals on the top made from icing. As I'm a tightarse, I want to keep these and reuse them on my DD's birthday cake in a months time. Will they go mouldy, and if not how do I store them? I presume they're made of sugar paste, but they're a bit squidgy rather than rock-hard if that makes any difference.
