Christmas food and present shopping

I was just wondering - how close to Christmas do you do your Christmas food and present shopping?

This Christmas eve falls on a Sunday - will you be more likely to shop on the day before as its a weekend day?

There's a Christmas board...you will get short thrift elsewhere on MN, especially in March!
But to answer your question,if you run a shop you will need to keep it open on Christmas Eve...there are always those who leave it to the last minute! Me, I'll be home drinking egg nog/carol singing, while DH pops round to visit someone does all his last minute shopping
