Pie ideas

Any recipes or ideas for savoury pies? I always make some kind of creamy chicken ones but fancy a change. DH doesn't really like gravy filled pies. Anything a bit different?

My best pie includes broccoli and goats cheese.

Leek and creamy potato pie is veh naice.

Shepherds pie?

Mixed veg, carrot/onion/celery/lentils/potato. Also v good.

Sweet potato, red onion, goats cheese, little bit of fresh thyme, filo pastry - mmmmmm

There's a great recipe on the bbc good food website for a crispy Greek style our filled with spinach and feta (and whatever else you fancy).

Also Simon rimmer's field mushroom pies are really delicious.

I've started doing a shepherds pie with a pastry top and mashed potato on the side. I also do curried chicken pie, beef pie (beef/carrots/onions/)

I had leftover pastry last week and a mustard pork casserole in the freezer so I put that in a pie- it was lovely.

My favourite pie includes 3. And 1. And 4. And 1. And 5,9,2,6,5,3,5.
