15 month old refusing to eat lumps and not touching wet finger food- help!

Hi, my 15 month old has refused to eat any lumpy foods since he was 9 months. He had eaten lumps and then some more teeth came through and that was it. He spent five weeks only drinking milk and eating rice cakes.
He now has 15 teeth and we have been unable to persuade him back onto lumps.
He will also not touch any finger food that doesn't come out of a shiny packet.....no veggies, no bread/ rolls/ bagels/ pittas. I've tried so many things....he gets offered foods again and again but either pokes at them and won't pick them up or else hurls them onto the floor.
Does anyone have a child like mine??? He is driving us crazy. Am in the process of trying to go cold turkey with everything but it has just made him very cross and the only thing he has eaten is a smooth yoghurt! He is very determined.
Would love to hear any ideas?

do you eat at the same time he eats? if you have a plate of food and just let him watch you does he show any interest in what you're having?

My 15 mth old is also quite fussy - not too bad with lumps but forget finger food unless it's peas or sweetcorn which he devours. Will sometimes eat toast but will not touch sandwiches of any kind. So fed up of trying to think of different meals for him, life would be so much easier if he would occasionally eat a sandwich.
He shows no interest in what I or DH eat so given up on that approach.
Just wanted to say that I symapthise entirely, hope someone has some suggestions??
