I have a 0.75kg piece of Aberdeen Angus topside beef for dinner tonight.

How do I best cook this? Have a slow cooker or oven

I never do joints so I'm a bit stuck

I would stick it in a pre-heated oven at 200.C for 25mins, then take it out of the oven, cover and rest for 25mins.
It should be perfectly pink and juicy.

Oven- it will make lovely roast beef there is a good timer tool here www.bbcgoodfood.com/howto/tools/roast-timer
It will not take long for that size joint.
