Which muffins for Mother's Day brunch?

I'm unexpectedly hosting Mother's Day brunch tomorrow, and I'm having to make do with what I have in the house!

My go to sweet recipe is a basic muffin mix, to which I add various dried fruits, or fruits, with spices.

I have some freeze dried raspberries, and I'd like to use those. I'll do a light icing and sprinkles on top. Well, DD will!

I'm just not sure what to add in to it. My possible options/ideas are...

  • just add vanilla and leave it quite plain
  • banana
  • dried apricots
  • chopped dates
  • cinnamon
  • ginger (probably too strong?)

I've not baked with freeze dried raspberries before, so I'm a little uncertain of how tarte they might be.

Please, oh wise ones, help me work out the perfect combination.

Thanks! St Davids

I'm not a fan of raspberries but I think.i would do a raspberry and vanilla version. And maybe a date and banana?

Banana and cinnamon?

Another vote for banana & cinnamon.
Leave the raspberries out of it.
